	This photo of Phil, then three, was plastered all over cookie tins in England and Scotland. "I don't know much about it, my mother organized it. But I remember sitting in the studio, having some strange man tell me to watch the birdie, which is why I'm not looking at the camera. I'm kind of embarrassed about the photograph, " he admits. "That's not the kind of kid I was at all." - but he's toooooo cute! :-)

	Eating ice cream in Madrid, Spain the following year, Phil became a seasoned traveler early on, thanks to his peripatetic old man.
	Eleven year-old Phil had his first beer with "a big plate of steaming mussels" in Brussels, Belgium.
	Out and about in London
	Snapped on his first day of boarding school, Phil, then eight, remembers it as "dreadful. It was rainy and the school was a really long way from my home, way out in the country. It was very bleak, everything you'd imagine an English boarding school would be. Very strict, " recalls Phil, who spent the next five years there.
